Execution

How to do it

  1. 01

Stand facing a stable support, hands on it, and bend one leg to lift that foot off the floor.

  2. 02

Slowly rise onto the ball of the standing foot, knee straight.

  3. 03

Pause at the top, then lower slowly.

  4. 04

Do all the reps, then switch legs.

Common mistake

Pulling on the support with your hands: it is there for balance.

The decision

When this movement makes sense

It changes the difficulty without external load while making the time symmetry observable.

When this changes

If the two-leg variant better matches today’s calibration, switching to one leg is not automatic progress.
